As we pulled up, my partner said, 'this building is so familiar' and it turns out that his great aunt had a candy shop in this location in the 1950's and '60's. Somehow I thought the Carb Police were going to nab us on the way out because we had so much garlic bread on top of the delicious pasta dishes we ordered. My partner had the lasagna, which is always his top choice. He was delighted with it. Full of flavor and just the right ratio of ingredients. I went for the Baked Ziti with Sausage, which had just the right amount of spiciness. The sausage was delicious as well. Service was friendly and professional. We have moved to the area and have been back once, with the same great results. This is now our go-to place for Italian.

I had the momma's lasagna special with garlic bread and it was DELICIOUS! Another person had the chicken Alfredo and other the pesto chicken panini all were very well liked! Sorry, didn't have room for dessert.

If we could give these good people and a wonderful dinner 10 stars we would gladly do it.

Drank a 22-ounce Beehive beer to wash it down. The meal was excellent. One of my guests had a grinder, the other a Panino. Each had a Bristol Microbrew with their meal. Service from the VERY YOUNG wait staff was outstanding, Kitchen support was phenomenal. Price was reasonable. This is a unique restaurant with its own style. It's not high-end, and it's not low-end. But it's still one of the best places to eat in a relaxed environment in Colorado Springs.

I don't know of any restaurant that would go to those lengths. The brussel sprouts were delicious and the dessert was divine.
