Paninos was started in Colorado Springs in 1974 by Grandma and Grandpa Frasca with the hope of building a local favorite hangout. All seven of their children (including Trip, Marie’s dad) grew up working in the original store located near the Colorado College Campus in Colorado Springs. From day one the Paninos family has strived for consistency, quality, and genuine hospitality. There are now 3 locations in Colorado Springs, 1 location in Minnesota, and one here in Fort Collins, all owned and operated by different members of the Frasca Family. Paninos is a long lasting family tradition. It is very important that each associate knows the history and is able to share this knowledge with customers and clients when asked. Paninos is a locally owned, vintage inspired, neighborhood restaurant where we strive to have every customer and client leave with the intention of returning soon. We are family friendly, love CSU and Fort Collins, and welcome customers and clients to a casual dining experience. We DO NOT treat our customers and clients casually. Each person who walks in the door is greeted with a “Hello. How are you?” treated with attentive and professional service, delicious consistent food, and a grateful associate team thanks them before leaving. “Thanks for coming in today. Have a great (afternoon).”
